7 Points to Launch

1.) I have set my heart to follow after Christ!
John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
2.) I am ready to defy gravity or the weights of this world that would hold me down.
Hebrews12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
3.) I am ready to boldly go where I have not gone before.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
4.) I am ready to break through barriers.
2 Corinthians 10:4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

5.) I accept the mission and I am willing to go wherever the Lord takes me.

6.) I have studied to show myself approved a workman that needs not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth.

7.) I am prayed up, filled up, and excited about the destination.

Living in 3-D

If you want to get somewhere in life you are going to have to have vision.  You can only achieve what you can see.  Have you ever watched a 3-D movie?  When you are wearing the 3-D glasses things seem to stick out at you like they are coming right out of the screen.  What used to be two-dimensional is now popping right out at you.  But when you take the glasses off and look at the screen there are all these extra colored lines on the screen, (especially in the old school 3-D movies), that blur up the picture.

There are things in this life that at best are just blurry squiggly lines upon the already confused pictures of our lives.  But when we put on the supernatural glasses of the Holy Spirit those things that were a blur now pop right out at us.  The things that were hidden are now revealed and we are seeing into a new dimension.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit (our 3-D glasses): for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:9-10).”

There are certain things that God has prepared for us that only He can reveal.  We will never be able to see them without Him.  So then Vision is the revelation or revealing of those things that we cannot see with our natural mind or our natural eyes.

The number one thing that you have to realize about vision is that it comes from God.  You cannot make up your own vision. Vision is a revelation or revealing of things that God has planned or seen for you from the beginning of time.  Vision is a sneak-peek that God gives us into our future.

The second thing you need to realize about vision is that you cannot live a productive life and reach your destiny without it.  The Bible says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish (Proverbs 29:18)”.  The word for perish there in the Hebrew is para, meaning naked.  Vision literally clothes us with purpose and the anointing of God that we need to fulfill destiny.

The third thing that I want you to understand about vision is that it is a part of faith.  The biblical definition of faith given to us in Hebrews 11:1 states, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”  Vision is the revealing of things that are not seen or what we will call the evidence part of faith.  Vision is a spirit eye.    It is the seeing part of faith. It is our 3-D glasses.

Team Goal: Work in the area of your strength

Team Goal: Work in the area of your strength. Just because you want to do it does not mean you are good at it. Find your purpose!

Listen, God has the perfect thing for you to do to help expand and enlarge His Kingdom. Don't get caught doing something your not good at just because it is something you want to do. We are a team, and a team has to work together, everyone working in the area of their greatest strength, so that the whole team can move forward with high intensity.

Now, I know that we all have to occupy roles at times that we know we are not the best at, but there is no one else to do it, so we fill in to meet the need. I am not talking about that. If you are filling in to meet a need you are a strength to your team. The message I want to get out to you today is this. Do not waste your time on things that are not going to be productive for both you and your team.

The most important thing to any team is total participation. So get involved. Full Turn needs you. Your church needs you, and we need you to work in the area of your strength. How can you be valuable to the team? Get plugged in!

Love Bomb

This Sunday we will be starting a brand new series entitled "Love Bomb".  What if we were to live each day in light of Christ's "new" commandment to "love one another" as He loved?  What would happen if we took seriously His instuctions to foster authenic, caring relationships? This series will explore the powerful possibilities of lives lived according to the radical "love one another" message that we see in the gospel.  What do we have to do to drop a "Love Bomb" on our city?

As a church we just completed a 21 day fast.  I am so proud of everyone that was involved in this fast.  I know that you are going to see some real fruit in your life from this time of prayer and devotion to God.  When I asked everyone to raise their hand who were a part of the fast about 98% of the church raised their hand and the other 2% were visitors or people that are still new to our church.

I want to encourage you to keep up with your time of prayer and devotion.  Don't fall back into old patterns.  Just because we are not fasting anymore does not mean that we should not still set aside time to pray and read the Word of God.  Stay consistent and persistent in your pursuit of God's purpose.

Great things are on the horizon.  As we turn the page on the first month of 2011, new opportunities are before us.  This is a year of Invasion.  We will take our city back for God.  We will not settle for the norm.  We as a church are hungry to see a supernatural move of God that shakes our city.  Full Turn nation rise up!  We will do this through prayer, faith, evangelism, power, unity, and LOVE.

Becoming a Champion Part 2

Let me encourage you to take time to look these scriptures up for yourself and read the points that go along with them.  I could write these scriptures out for you, but I want you to devote some personal time with God.  If you capture these points your life will change.  Full Turn Nation rise up!  It is time to be champions for God.

John 6:1-13

1.)    In this passage we find an unlikely hero, a small lad that saved the day.
2.)    The key to multiplication is taking what you have and putting it in the hands of the master.
3.)    True champions seize the moment.

Luke 6:38

1.)    God never forgets what you give.
2.)    God never forgets the moments that we seize through our faith in Him.
3.)    What we have may seem insignificant, but when placed in the right hands become great.
4.)    God will take your little and give it back good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.

Matthew 25:21

1.)    Little is much when God is in it.
2.)    Use what you have where you are. (Ex:  Moses and David used what they had in their hand to bring about great miracles because they offered what they had to God.)
3.)    Despise not the day of small things.

Becoming A Champion Part1

I want to give you some points on championship living, because God has called us to be a Championship Church!

Romans 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

1.) One of the first steps to becoming a champion is changing your mindset.
2.) The way you think is very important.
3.) “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
4.) You need to know and understand who you are in Christ.

What is a champion?

1.) A champion is someone that is out of the box. A champion will always break the mold.
2.) A champion not only knows how to lead but how to follow.
3.) A champion sets an example and raises the bar for future generations.
4.) A champion never gives up.

Romans 8:31-39
31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
   “For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1.) We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.
2.) We can overcome anything and defeat the attack of the enemy in our minds if we realize the power that we have through the love of God.
3.) The carnal mind is God’s enemy, but we can be transformed and changed into God’s image and have his mind at work in us by allowing his spirit to move in our lives.

Teamwork

Today I would like to offer you some powerful points on teamwork. Full Turn we are a team and we are a family.

1) We have to be willing to lay down everything.
*Without self-sacrifice, there is no teamwork.

2) It requires giving of yourself and passion. In Romans 12:1-3, it talks about conforming oneself to a model or pattern. Compare this verse to 1 Peter 1:14, where it describes those conforming themselves to worldy lusts. Even apparent or superficial conformity to the present world system or any accomodation to its ways would be fatal to Christian life. We, as Christians, are to be transformed by a renewed mind committed to the ideals of the kingdom of God.

3) We have to realize it's not about ME, it's about ALL OF US!!
*Everyone on the team is valuable.
*It's more than just a group of people who are together. There are lots of people together at the grocery store, cinema, in the stands, on buses,
on trains, in churches, but they are not on a team!
*People on the team are people who love and protect each other and people who feel each is a part of the others.

4) You cannot get offended!! Whoa!! This is a big one for all of us. Leaders cannot get offended and they do not get offended. They have to come
to a higher understanding. At this level, there can be no offenses.
*Taking correction makes you a more valuble teammate.
*Who God loves, He corrects. Proverbs 3:11-12
* If you are going to inspire someone, you HAVE to be above average.
-Who are you inspiring today? Who inspires you?
